The 14th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) will be held from 10 to 12 April at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has specially set up a “Macao Pavilion” in the event, themed “Mutual exchange and learning between the Chinese and Western civilisations”, to comprehensively showcase Macao’s unique cultural heritage, as well as large culture and creative events.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market will be held from 23 to 26, and from 30 April to 3 May at Tap Siac Square. A total of 73 creative handicraft workshops will be held, including 15 sessions for families.

In order to promote the development of cinematography in Macao, the call for proposals for the programme “Local View Power”, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) is open from today until 10 April Those interested in film production are welcome to participate.
