Applications are open for Macao Creative Pavilion in Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair

The 15th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) will be held in late October 2024 in Xiamen. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will arrange for Macao’s cultural and creative entities to participate in the CCCIF. Through the establishment of the “Macao Creative Pavilion”, the IC endeavours to promote Macao’s cultural and creative products and services and facilitate industry exchanges and development. Applications for the exhibition are open from today to 5 September.

“Craft Market in the Greater Bay Area” and “Macao Fashion Pop-up Store” open in Guangzhou

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the “Craft Market in the Greater Bay Area” will be held from today (23 August) to 25 August in Guangzhou. The “Macao Fashion Pop-up Store” will be launched in parallel from today to 1 September. The public is welcome to visit the event.

Macao Creative Pavilion participates in the Hong Kong International Licensing Show promoting Macao’s original IP brands

The Cultural Affairs Bureau has organised the participation of Macao’s cultural and creative industries in the “Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2024” to be held from 27 to 29 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, in which it has set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion”, expecting to explore more business opportunities and exchanges for the local cultural and creative industries, supporting the local original IP brands and expanding their market externally.

The Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring is held from today to 21 April and from 25 to 28 April at Tap Siac Square, showcasing and selling cultural and creative products from Macao and Asian regions. 1st Macao International Shorts Film Festival was concluded successfully

The 1st Macao International Shorts Film Festival, jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Galaxy Entertainment Group, was concluded successfully. The Festival's closing ceremony and awards ceremony was held on 29 March, where "FÁR" directed by Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter was honored with the Best Short Film Award, and "BUBBLE" directed by Ellen Wong received the Best Macao Short Film.
