The Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring is held from today to 21 April and from 25 to 28 April at Tap Siac Square, showcasing and selling cultural and creative products from Macao and Asian regions. A number of music performances and creative handicraft workshops are also held. All are welcome to participate.

1st Macao International Shorts Film Festival was concluded successfully

The 1st Macao International Shorts Film Festival, jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Galaxy Entertainment Group, was concluded successfully. The Festival's closing ceremony and awards ceremony was held on 29 March, where "FÁR" directed by Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter was honored with the Best Short Film Award, and "BUBBLE" directed by Ellen Wong received the Best Macao Short Film.

Cultural Affairs Bureau sets up pavilion at Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) to promote Macao’s productions and services

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) has set up the Macao Pavilion at this year’s Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART). IC has cooperated with various departments and public broadcasting entities to organise for local film and television industry practitioners to participate in the event in Hong Kong, with a view to extending the international reach of local productions and services overseas, constructing a platform for exchange and cooperation, and creating more development opportunities.

Applications for the Macao Creative Pavilion in the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair are now open

The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) will be held in Shenzhen in late May 2024. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will organise for Macao’s cultural and creative industries to participate in the exhibition and set up a “Macao Creative Pavilion” to promote Macao’s cultural and creative products and services, so as to facilitate exchanges and development of the industries.

1st Macao International Shorts Film Festival kicks off in March presenting an array of activities to showcase the vitality of short films

Autumn Tap Siac Craft Market inaugurates next Thursday

This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the Tap Siac Craft Market, and the opening ceremony will be held on 16 November (Thursday) at 6pm, featuring singer Ng Lam Fung as guest performer.

Cultural Affairs Bureau holds creative handicraft workshops at the Tap Siac Craft Market

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market will be held from 16 to 19 November and from 23 to 26 November at Tap Siac Square. A total of 62 creative handicraft workshops will be held, including 14 sessions for families. The workshops projects include ceramics, glass, bonsai, painting and leather, integrating fun, creativity and crafts. All interested parties are welcome to participate.

Shortlisted projects from Macao will receive guidance from professional directors and scriptwriters and will be awarded a prize of up to MOP90,000.
