Registration for handicraft workshops of the “Tap Siac Craft Market” is now open

10/11/2020

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 20 to 22 November and from 27 to 29 November at Tap Siac Square, featuring various creative handicraft workshops. The fee of each handicraft workshop is MOP50. All interested parties can register for the workshops through the Tap Siac Craft Market website from 28 October until 5 November, at 5pm.

The “Tap Siac Craft Market” features 36 creative handicraft workshops, including 9 sessions for families to participate and enjoy the fun of handicrafts. For more information about the dates and contents of the workshops, as well as registration, please visit the Tap Siac Craft Market website at www.craftmarket.gov.mo. The deadline for online registration is 5 November, at 5pm. Each person may register for up to two workshops but only once per workshop (only children will be counted for family workshops). Successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots and will be notified on 9 November. The selected applicants should pay the registration fees at the designated locations within the specified period of time. Registered applicants who arrive 10 minutes after the workshop starts will be disqualified and will be replaced by on-site applicants on the waiting list. For details, please refer to the “Registration Notes”.

The selection results will be announced on the Tap Siac Craft Market website and the “Craft Market” page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MacaoCraftMarket. If there are vacancies left for the workshops, interested parties can register on-site and pay the registration fees during the Tap Siac Craft Market on 20 and 27 November respectively, from 5pm onwards. In addition, the organizer will distribute the tickets to on-site applicants at the venue 30 minutes before the workshop starts. Any latecomers to the workshops will be replaced by the on-site applicants on the waiting list accordingly.

IC remains vigilant on the development of the pandemic, and will follow the relevant guidance of the Health Bureau, and make appropriate arrangements for the activities. For enquiries, please contact Ms. Zhou, staff member of IC,  through tel. no. 8399 6289 during office hours.
