Since ancient times, humanity has thrived in social communities, and the observation and contemplation of human figures have never ceased. reimagines the human experience through the portraiture of artists. In the context of contemporary art, portraiture extends beyond the depiction of appearances to delve into the exploration of humanity, emotions, identity, and social relationships. The exhibition "People Matter" features six artists from diverse regions, generations, and cultural backgrounds: Carlos Marreiros (b.1957‧Macao), Konstantin Bessmertny (b. 1964‧Macao), Benjamin Kidder Hodges (b. 1977‧Richmond, Virginia), Crystal W.M. Chan (b. 1986‧Macao), Issei Suzukio (b. 2001‧Tokyo) and Jonni Cheatwood (b. 1986‧Los Angeles). The exhibition is curated by Artelli's curator, Pal LOK Chok.
