In order to enhance Macao’s visibility and prominence in the international film and television industry, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym) participated in the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) held in Singapore for the first time, and set up a “Macao Pavilion” in the event to promote filming in Macao for its unique characteristics.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market in Autumn is held from today to 23 November, and from 27 to 30 November at Tap Siac Square, showcasing and selling original products from Macao and Asian regions. A number of music performances and creative handicraft workshops are also held. All are welcome to visit.

The opening ceremony will be held on 20 November (Thursday) at 6pm, featuring singer KURO as guest performer. All are welcome to visit the event.

The “China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival”, integrated in the 7th “Encounter in Macao - Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries”, is held from 14 November to 5 December, presenting nearly 30 outstanding films from China, the Portuguese-speaking countries, Japan and South Korea, as well as outreach activities such as community screenings, post-screening talks and workshops.
